The Grand Opening of our new facility

On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Diversified Specialty Metals celebrated the Grand Opening of their new facility in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. 150 New Huntington Road, Unit #1 was transformed into an intimate bistro, with the Management and Staff welcoming over 130 Customers, Suppliers, Corporate Leaders, Board of Directors and local Government Officials. The celebrations included facility tours, live music and great food complimented with a spectacular Ribbon and Cake Cutting ceremony.

Diversified Specialty Metals was more than ready for a new business location as they had been in the same facility in Downsview for over forty years with limited space for showcasing their newest product lines. There was also a realization that the additional space afforded from this new facility, including 6 additional loading docks, would add increased functionality allowing orders to be filled and delivered faster. The facility is situated within 10 minutes of Pearson International Airport with easy access to the 400 series highways.

As a full line stainless steel and aluminum service center and distributor, Diversified Specialty Metals specializes in sheet, bar, plate, tubing, structural angle as well as rolled and slit coil. Aluminum Extrusions are the newest additions to their product lines.

In addition to providing standard stock sizes, they can also shear, level, plasma, roll, slit or cut to length their products to your exact specifications.

Their stainless alloys include 200, 300, & 400 series in a variety of finishes, Duplex Grades, as well as 3003 H14, 5052 H32 and 6061T6 aluminum sheet and plate complimented by a full product line of Aluminum Extrusions.

Markets including automotive, food service equipment, construction, medical, transportation and consumer products will be well served from this new location.
