• Variation of Type 302 with the addition of higher chromium and lower carbon content
• Minimized carbide precipitation when welded
• Usually can be used in “as welded” condition without anneal and still retain corrosion resistance
• Used in food service equipment, architectural, chemical, paper and pharmaceutical applications
